New version of LISTSERV Maestro lets marketers focus on targeting the right audience
London, September 3, 2003 - L-Soft, a leading email software vendor, announced today the release of LISTSERV® Maestro 1.2, a new version of its email marketing software that guides marketers through each step of campaign development, including message creation, response tracking and reporting. The main new features are direct connection to existing customer databases and predefined recipient target groups.
Unlike other products, LISTSERV Maestro is now capable of integrating with an organisation's existing databases. In addition, the new version simplifies target group selection by allowing database administrators to predefine database queries. Marketers can then easily choose a desired target list of recipients from a drop-down menu, a checkbox or a text input box without any SQL or database system knowledge.

- Just-in-time Recipients: the recipient list is extracted at the time of delivery, ensuring that the most up-to-date recipient list is always used
- More Detailed Bounce Reporting: bounces are reported in separate categories according to specific bounce causes
- Form-Submit Tracking: tracks the submission of HTML forms within emails
- Better Support for AOL Rich Text: provides opportunity to preview and send AOL formats
